Abu Dhabi-UAE: 12 November, 2013: ADNOC Distribution today hosted a special appreciation ceremony for 540 Emirati employees who are currently undergoing training programmes for acquiring industry-specific skills and expertise. The initiative was hosted as part of the nation-wide ‘Absher' programme that was launched under the patronage of the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to drive the country's ongoing nationalisation efforts. ADNCO Distribution's commitment to the Absher programme is articulated through its strategy to nationalise the company's higher and middle management level, as well as technical and semi technical positions across all domains. ADNOC Distribution has also commenced efforts to nationalise the supervisory jobs in the service stations sector, which represents a key growth area and therefore requires the availability of trained national staff.
