Etisalat Announces Partnership with Dubai Public Prosecution at GITEX Technology Week 2013

Telecom major to offer secure web security-as-a-service solutions

Dubai-UAE: 24 October, 2013- Etisalat, leading telecom company in the Middle East and Africa, today announced its partnership with Dubai Public Prosecution, with the telecom major providing the government department with a cloud-based managed web security solutions.

The announcement came during a signing ceremony at GITEX Technology Week, Middle East, Africa and South Asia region's top ICT exhibition and conference being held in Dubai from 20-24 October, 2013.

The new deal will enable Etisalat to provide cloud-based, managed secure email solutions, thereby becoming an integrated service provider for the Dubai Public Prosecution. This solution will provide Dubai Public Prosecution with real-time reporting and forensic summaries and up to six months of transaction logs, bandwidth management tools to restrict non-productive web traffic and data loss prevention solutions security, flexibility and convenience as they need.

Etisalat aims to showcase its ability to serve as a one stop shop for ICT solutions through demonstration of futuristic technologies during GITEX Technology Week. Etisalat's focus this year is on showcasing its solutions on workforce mobility, employee productivity, network efficiency, reducing cost and complexity. 

The managed email solution from Etisalat, powered by Zservices (Zscaler Middle East Cloud), will supply Dubai Public Prosecution with a fully logged cloud-based security-as-a-service solution for all of their web communications anywhere in the world.

The telecom major would be demonstrating its managed email security solutions at the Etisalat stand at ZA1, Zabeel Hall, World Trade Centre, during GITEX Technology Week.
