Manama: Bahrain Science centre, part of the Ministry of Social Development will be hosting during October a weekly basis a magical science show, in which visitors won't need a laboratory to do science.

In this new activity, visitors will discover that they can do science at home. They will experiment using different elements like balloons, air and water and learn how to push a knitting needle through a balloon without popping it.

Using a candle and a glass of water, they will also learn how to make a partial vacuum and suck water into the glass. Most amazingly, using only an aluminum rod and wax they will learn how to make music and a lot more.

The show primarily targets youngsters from the age of 4 and above. Interested visitors can download the weekly programme on the website www.bahrainsciencecentre.com for more information.
