ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates - Sunday, June 30th 2013 [ME NewsWire]: Turkish Prime Minister RecepTayyipErdogan honored Emirati student MubarakSaleemDarbouhAlAmeri, an employee at theAbu Dhabi Police GeneralHeadquarters, for being the firstEmiratigraduatefromtheFaculty of Security Sciences at the TurkishPoliceAcademyin Ankara, Turkey.

The graduationceremony of the 68th batch of students from theFacultyof Security Sciences washeldrecentlyat the TurkishPolice Academyin thecapital city. MuammerGuler, Turkish Minister of Interior, and a representative oftheEmbassyoftheUnitedArabEmiratesin Ankara attended the ceremony.

Lt. Colonel Khalid Abdullah Al Khouri, Head of the Education Department inAbu Dhabi Police, expressed his happiness for the honoring of the Emirati student,Mubarak Al Ameri, and reiterated the commitment to send students abroad to study under the directives ofthe police leadership. Sending students abroad enables them to honetheir skills, developtheir intellectualand practical capacities, learn from foreign experiences, and continue theireducation. The department upholds direct communication withstudents, carries out fieldvisitsto theirschools, and ensures that the academicandsocial conditions are favorable.

He said thatthevisionofthe Abu Dhabi Police GeneralHeadquarters, represented by the Human ResourcesGeneral Directorate, (Department of Education), focusesonprovidingcadreswithskills,qualifications, knowledge and distinguished security, administrative,andtechnical disciplinessoastoenhancedevelopmental efforts.

The graduatestudentMubarakAlAmeri is the first Emirati to earnabachelor's degreefrom the Faculty of Security Sciences at theTurkishPoliceAcademy. His scholarship period spanned over four years and was crowned with successand excellence.

Al Ameri dedicated his successto the United Arab Emirates, his dear homelandand to its senior leadership, his superiors at work, his family, and everyone who supported him. He said: “It's my pride to see the United Arab Emirates' flag fluttering at theTurkish Police Academy.
