Dubai, United Arab Emirates, November 27, 2017: The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) launched today the Bedaya ( the beginning) programme for new recruits at the Authority. His Excellency Humaid Al Qutami, Chairman of the Board and Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority, said: “ We consider the employees at the Authority to be one family and the Bedaya program is an excellent initiative to help newly joined employees understand the mission, vision and functioning of the Authority so that they can add their creative inputs and help us achieve our vision of a healthier and happier community.” The DHA currently has more than 12,200 employees. In 2017, more than 600 employees joined the 47 year-old organisation and this month 120 new recruits will be the first to participate in the Bedaya programme. Amna Al Suwaidi, Director of Human Resources at the DHA, said: “ The programme is comprehensive and the induction includes providing information about all the DHA hospitals and health facilities, their services, new initiates, brief about the DHA’s strategy, CRM system, information about the training and medical education department, information about the DHA structure, leaders and their departments etc.”
