UAE, September 23, 2017– Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) and Governing Board Chairman of the UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (IITE), successfully led the 16th Session of the IITE, which was held recently in Moscow. During the meeting, the body discussed and approved the Institute’s Medium-Term Strategy for 2018 to 2021. The new strategy covers the IITE’s new mission and priorities, key action areas and major program activities. The meeting also saw the presentation of a covering the activities of IITE from 2016 to 2017; discussed and Reviewed the Programme Plan for 2018 to 2019.

Among the attendees were Anne Coupez, Representative of the Director-General of UNESCO and Igor Ganshin, Director of the International Department of the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Education and Science.
