PUMA® LEAPS TO GREATER HEIGHTS WITH ITS NEWEST ADDITION German Women’s High Jumper Marie-Laurence Jungfleisch Joins the PUMA family. Dubai, UAE, July 27, 2017: PUMA is excited to introduce its newest ambassador, Marie-Laurence Jungfleisch. The 26-year-old high jumper from Germany has been turning heads and making her presence known in the track & field world. Marie-Laurence is a fan favorite, she has a standout appearance and a type of confidence that resonates and inspires audiences. The brand feels as though her performance, values, and style align perfectly with PUMA and help push the Forever Faster message. She had an 8th place finish in the 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships. She snagged 6th in Beijing for the IAAF World Championships in 2015. She had a 7th place finish in last summer’s Rio Olympic Games, along with her personal best jump of 2 meters during that same summer. According to the IAAF, Marie-Laurence is currently tied as the 4th best outdoor jumper and tied for the 11th best indoor jumper in 2017. She finished 2nd in her event at the European Athletics Team Championships in June, helping Germany take gold. Most recently in July she earned her 5th German Championship title in a row to solidify herself as the best current high jumper in her country. PUMA is very happy for Marie-Laurence to join the family, and is looking forward to watching her shine in the upcoming 2017 IAAF World Championships in London.
