Dubai, UAE, January 31, 2017: Global medical technology business, Siemens Healthineers, introduced the world’s first mobile operative CT scanner to the Middle East at the Arab Health Exhibition and Congress today. The Somatom go. reduces patient discomfort during CT scans, as new survey findings reveal 48% of UAE residents feel anxious about a CT scan when facing a health issue1. Involving more than 1,000 people from across the UAE, the survey shows people, find full body scans more intimidating than other routine tests like X-Rays (11%), blood pressure checks (6%) and blood tests (28%).
