Dubai, United Arab Emirates - Mayo Clinic is returning to participate at the annual Arab Health Exhibition & Congress, which kicks off today at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center. In its 41st year, Arab Health is the second largest health care congress and exhibition in the world and the largest in the Middle East. “We are excited to return to the UAE to be part of this worldwide gathering of some of the most important and significant healthcare providers in the world,” said Dr. David Hayes, medical director, Mayo Clinic Care Network. “Gatherings like this are a valuable learning opportunity for all of us and our patients. It’s where we share knowledge of the important advancements that are being made - with new research and discoveries - throughout the medical community.” Mayo Clinic speakers include: Dr. Keith Stewart, director, Center for Individualized Medicine, who will speak at the Leaders in Healthcare Conference on 28 January; and Dr. Joaquín García, consultant and vice chair of Laboratories, Division of Anatomic Pathology, who will speak at the MEDLAB Congress on 26 January. Mayo Clinic and Mayo Medical Laboratories will exhibit at the event. Mayo Clinic will be in Hall 1, U.S. Pavilion, Stand 1F51. Mayo Medical Laboratories will be located in Zabeel Hall 5, Stand Z5D28.
