UAE, January 20, 2016- The Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) has recently revealed that 38 Brazilian companies are set to attend Arab Health, a healthcare industry show to be held from January 25 to 28, 2016 in Dubai, UAE. The Brazilian pavilion will be organized by Abimo, the Brazilian Medical Devices Manufacturers Association, in partnership with the Brazilian Export and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil). The participating companies are expected to gross over USD 22 million in the wake of the event, according to Abimo.

The Brazilian companies that will be showcased at the  pavilion during Arab Health include Q2Tec, BR Goods and LB Diagnostica, attending for the first time, as well as Scitech, Loktal, Carci, Sismatec, Phoenix, Deltronix, Drillermed, Hpbio, Instramed, Casex, Osteomed, Ibramed, Inpromed, Samtronic, Olidef, Spine Implantes, Hospimetal, Atrasorb, Traumec, Ortosintese, Medicone, Fanem, Neoortho, Olsen, Baumer, Magnamed, GMI, Exxomed, Dorja, Biomecanica, MMO, Bioclin, DK Diagnostics, WAMA and Lupetec. The companies will be throwing the spotlight on their wide range of products and services. 

Dr. Michel Alaby, Secretary General and CEO, Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, said: “Brazilian companies are recognizing the infinite possibilities the Middle East region represents financially and economically. In turn, the Arab health sector will greatly benefit from the state-of-the art products and services these companies have to offer. The overwhelming participation reinforces the strong trade relations between the Arab World and Brazil.”

Arab Health is a highly-anticipated medical networking platform that will gather traders and distributors. During the conference, Brazilian companies will showcase electro-medical equipment, orthopedic products, furnishing and items such as needles, syringes, adhesives and bandages. Medical assistance technologies that is set to be launched in the next two years will also be highlighted during Arab Health as part of active Brazilian promotional efforts. 

This includes the latest products from prosthetics manufacturers, eyewear providers, along with sought-after healthcare equipment. 

Brazilian products are highly sought after by many Arab countries for their superior quality. In fact, by November 2015, Brazil had exported USD 10.108 million worth of medical products and equipment to Arab countries. Primary buyers include the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Jordan and Egypt. The most in-demand products include dental devices and instruments, orthodontic implants, gynecology chairs, incubators, orthopedic prosthetics, surgical tables, and respiratory devices.
