Dubai, January 13, 2016: Emirates Post Group organized a health awareness campaign at Al Ain Central Post Office in the 5th Postal Zone for the benefit of employees and customers, in collaboration with Specialised Medical Care Hospital, Al Ain.

Employees and customers turned out in large numbers to do medical tests to measure the body mass index, monitor obesity, and breast cancer screening.
EPG Acting CEO Mr. Fahad Al Hosani said: “The health awareness campaign in Al Ain is part of EPG’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives designed to help the UAE community detect hidden illnesses and also take preventive measures.  In addition, we want our employees to have increased awareness of health issues, and thus boost productivity and lead a better quality of life.”

EPG Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Ibrahim Bin Karam said: “Community engagement is one of the key commitments of EPG. As post offices attract a large number of people we want to enable them to benefit from these free medical checkup services so that they can detect hidden illnesses like diabetes and heart disease.”
The administration of 5th postal zone coordinated the campaign and guided customers and employees to take advantage of the free services offered during the daylong activity. EPG has been conducting similar campaigns round the year in different postal zones as part of its CSR initiatives.
