Dubai, UAE, 20 October 2015: In a bid to reduce its carbon footprint, du is rallying all its consumer customers to switch to online billing methods. Starting November 17, all consumer postpaid, home and fixed line service customers will start receiving their bills online via email, unless they indicate otherwise.

“Currently 65% of all our customers are using our eBill service and our aim is to raise that number to 100%. We are committed to improving environmental sustainability throughout the UAE and we encourage our customers to do the same. As believers in sustainability reporting, we are once again raising the benchmarks for sustainability in the country,” said Fahad Al Hassawi, Chief Commercial Officer, du. “At du, we do not see ourselves as merely a telecom provider, we consider ourselves a corporate citizen and we take our economic, social and environmental responsibilities very seriously. We continuously strive to implement sustainability practices across all aspects of our business in the most innovative ways.”
