• Volkswagen Middle East participants recognised for high standards of Service Excellence • Over 250 participants from 70 nations participated at the World Championship in Berlin, Germany Dubai, 08 June, 2015: The high standards of Volkswagen Middle East customer service were commended at the sixth edition of the Volkswagen Retail World Championship, held on 29th May in Berlin, Germany. Taking home the awards this year, Mr. Preetham Lewis Gabrial, from Ali & Sons - the official partner in Abu Dhabi - received third place in the best Service Advisor category. Also amongst the night‘s winners were Mr. Bassem Salameh and Mr. Sivarajah Thiyagarajah, from Al Nabooda Automobiles - the official partner in Dubai and Northern Emirates - achieving third place in the best Salesman and the best Parts Advisor categories respectively, across the Middle East, Africa, Russia and CIS countries. Thomas Milz, Managing Director, Volkswagen Middle East said, “The Retail Qualification World Championship is a platform where our team can demonstrate their passion for the brand and commitment to Volkswagen Service Excellence. At the regional Volkswagen Service Competence and Training Center, we provide international standards of training for all our staff members - ensuring our factory-trained technicians can deliver services in accordance with the company’s exemplary German standards. “Participants in this year’s championship demonstrated remarkably high standards of expertise and I would personally like to congratulate all three winners for their outstanding performance.” Under the motto ‘one brand, one team, one challenge’, the championship aims to continually improve sales and service quality by determining the current state of knowledge across the Volkswagen retail network. This information is then used to develop and implement programs to further enhance the Volkswagen after-sales teams’ performance and ensure the highest standards of Volkswagen customer satisfaction.
