Dubai, United Arab Emirates, February 9, 2015: The Dubai Health Authority’s Department of Medical Education successfully concluded an administrative training program for 18 staff members. The program known as ‘ Train the Trainers’ was conducted in collaboration with the British Academy for Human Resources Development. Dr. Jamila Mohamed Al Shaikh, Acting Director of the Department of Medical Education at the DHA, said such programs are vital to ensure continuous education for DHA employees in non-medical courses as well. “ In addition to medical training, administrative training is also vital to further develop the skill-set of employees and therefore we develop such in-house training programs.” She added that 18 staff members who underwent this training program were nursing and administration staff. Dr. Al Shaikh said that in 2015, this program will be carried out again for another batch of staff members.
