5th January 2015, Dubai, UAE - Yogafest Middle East (ME) 2015 returns to Dubai Internet City from 19-21 February 2015.  Now in its 5th year, Yogafest attracted over 3,000 participants in 2014 and is expected to attract over 4,000 in 2015.  It is the only free yoga festival in the region bringing together thousands of yoga enthusiasts, families, and new visitors for two days of meditation, yoga, wellness sessions, and healthy eating all in a beautiful outdoor setting.
Yogafest ME, which last year saw over 80 yoga and meditation sessions at the Dubai Internet City Amphitheatre, is offering over 100 sessions taught by teachers from around the region and two international instructors, Stephane Sayegh from Istanbul and founder of Mind and Body Festival who will offer a pranayama workshop and SangeevBhanot, from Switzerland who will be teaching Antasha yoga. 

The event, which is free to all, will officially open Thursday evening February 19 with a drumming session, yoga class and feature film, Y Yoga.  The event then runs from 7am to 7pm on Friday and Saturday.  Everyone is welcome to take part, from those who are new to yoga to the most advanced yogis.

This year participants can visit any of our 8 tents to enjoy a range of different classes and workshops.  In the main yoga shala you can try all the styles of yoga available in Dubai including Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hatha, Sivananda, Bikram and Yin yogataught by some of the bestinstructors at Zen Yoga, Urban Yoga and Eco Yoga Sanctuary. 

Those who prefer Pilates can head to the Pilates tent to try mat, reformer, and chair classesoffered by Club Stretch and Mojo Pilates.  Those wishing to de-stress can head to our tranquil meditation tent and try Thai Chi with a Zen master from Talise Spa or a variety of meditation classes and gong and singing bowl sessions offered by Illuminations and The Third Eye.

Interested in healthy food, visit our vegetarian food court for a chia pudding for breakfast, or an organic cold press juice from Essentially and Lecia& Vivian.  Also available is organic coffee from Raw and gluten free cakes for those who crave a bit of sweetness as well as a range of lunch items.There are lectures and live food demonstrations throughout the day to teach you how easy it is to prepare nutritious meals for you and your family.

Yogafest also offers a dedicated healing tent where you can experience various treatments such as massage, postural assessments from Ortho Sports andcranio sacral adjustments and Theta Healing with experienced practitioners from Illuminations and Miracles.

Enjoy a variety of classes in the family tent including pre natal, mum and baby, kidsyoga, and partner yoga with Phoenix Rising.

If you feel like chilling out by the lake, then relax on a beanbag and drink some green tea in our chill out tent sponsored by Lipton Tea, while you read Yogalife magazine.  Throughout the day musicians will play the sitar, tambour, and flutes to relax and entertain you.

Hire one on the day or buy one from one of our many vendors who will also have sustainably sourced clothing and accessories for sale.  Take the metro or try out Uber, and arrive with a friend by taxi, free for first time users.
