Dubai, November 20, 2014: the noodle house introduces ‘a celebration of curries’ - a new menu, available for a limited time only, allowing diners to discover the diverse curry traditions of South-East Asia. Using many little-known regional recipes, the noodle house chefs have taken inspiration from across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. Contrary to popular belief not all curries are conventionally spicy or hot but a complex layering of aromatic spicing that builds a flavourful sauce or ‘kahri’. The five new curry dishes, currently available in all the noodle house restaurants and for home delivery are:
Ayam Percik From Malaysia A dry curry of marinated and grilled chicken with steamed rice and rich, spiced gravy of chilli, lemon grass and galangal Red Curry with Roasted Duck From Thailand Lightly-spiced coconut curry sauce of red chillies, galangal, lemongrass, pineapple and tomato
Rendang Daging From Indonesia A dry style lamb curry that is rich with spices and coconut milk. Slow-cooked to intensify the flavour of the meat the origins of this dish date back centuries and its popularity spread quickly due to its effectiveness at preserving meat and tasty flavour. Jungle Curry From Northern Thailand A full-bodied prawn curry with birds-eye chillies. Unlike many curries, Jungle Curry is made without coconut milk. Gulai Sapi From Sumatra A rich, thick beef curry where the spice and heat comes mainly from crushed black peppercorns
the noodle house, with multiple locations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, is a fun, fresh and affordable restaurant. Whether catching up with friends or enjoying a family outing, the noodle houses’ open kitchens always promise to deliver an atmosphere as lively as its cuisine.
The Pan-Asian menu highlights signature dishes from across multiple regions including noodles, soups, wok-fried noodles, rice and specialities such as Singapore noodles, duck potstickers or black pepper beef. Also on offer are an array of vegetarian options, authentic and refreshing ethnic drinks, juices and cocktails.
