THE MOST IMPORTANT APPOINTMENT IN DUBAI CELEBRATING HIGH END ITALIAN CUISINE

The Italian Cuisine World Summit returns to Dubai for its 6th edition following the staggering success of the 2013 edition, which was the first in Dubai after four years in Hong Kong. From 7-20 November the Summit, by now the world’s most influential Italian quality food, beverage and lifestyle event, will crown Dubai as the ultimate World Food Capital, particularly of Italian Cuisine outside Italy.

This year's edition will feature a full list of events, including The Piazza Grande Food show (on November 14th and 15th at the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club); with music, entertainment food tastings, Casinetto’s Best Pizza in the UAE Competition, Lavazza’s 3Espresso Contest - Best Espresso in the UAE, Risotto World Contest and 3 acrobatic pizzaiolos, VIP dinners, as well as exciting new events such as a truffle auction for charity. An absolute world novelty is the launch of the Pasta Premier League, a promotion cum competition reserved only to talented chefs, their restaurants and best brands of Pasta.

Michelin-starred chefs will also be cooking in some of Dubai's most upscale Italian restaurants including Alta Badia, Armani, Bice, Bice Mare, Bussola, Casa Mia, Cavalli, L’Olivo, Roberto’s, Ronda, Rosso, Lounge Café Italiano, to name but a few. The selected restaurants all together will host more than 40 Italian guest master chefs bringing with them a deluge of Michelin stars. Unique gala nights will be organized in each of them. The master chefs will create special menus specifically for the Summit and for discerning eaters.

Foodies are invited to book a table for a taste (please refer to the bottom of the text for the list of chefs and restaurants).

“There is nothing like this in the world for Italian Cuisine. Today this can happen only in Dubai. Thanks to the talented chefs of these restaurants, who are the very best promoters of Italian cuisine on a global scale,” says Rosario Scarpato, Creator and current Director of the Summit.

The event will be dedicated exclusively to celebrating Dubai as the World Food Capital and the premier destination of Italian cuisine and lavish lifestyle outside of Italy.

The Summit aims to showcase, celebrate, promote and educate about traditional cuisine and its quality ingredients. It is a golden opportunity to learn more about Italian cuisine and its amazing palette of tastes.

The event targets food lovers and those who enjoy a quality lifestyle.


The Summit will also present the awarding of the Professional Italian Cooking Certificate of Proficiency (a specialized course for culinary professionals to develop skills in Italian cuisine) and the Italian White Truffle Expert Certificate (the first proficiency certificate of its kind in the world).
