Flavours of Christmas at SCAFA

With the festive spirit in the air, SCAFA, Dubai's School of Culinary and Finishing Arts, provides UAE residents with a unique Christmas Themed Lunch or Dinner cooking experience throughout December. Reservations for the ‘Cooking for Christmas' lunch and dinner are open and it is the perfect way to ring in the holiday season with family, friends or colleagues at SCAFA.

The cooking parties are apt for corporates looking for team building activities or families wishing to do something other than visiting a restaurant for a Christmas meal. After a fun cooking class, participants can also enjoy their dishes at SCAFÉ, the warm and comfortable in-house bistro. The cooking parties cost between AED 250-350 per person and require booking in advance.

Participants can learn to whip up a traditional Christmas meal including:

• Starter: Choice of Pumpkin Soup or Pear, Fig and Cranberry Salad
• Main Course: Stuffed Turkey Breast Roulade (vegetarian option available)
• Side: Beef Bacon & Peas, Cumin Carrots, Thyme Roasted Potatoes & Brussels Sprouts
• Dessert: Christmas Log

Other Christmas Activities

SCAFA will also be conducting a Culinary Winter Camp for kids from 19th December 2013 to 2nd January 2014. Kids will learn to prepare festive themed dishes and culinary treats over their Christmas break. The camp will comprise of 6 classes for AED 1,050. Individual classes can be booked for AED 225.

On Monday 23 December, SCAFA will conduct a special Christmas Cooking Class for couples from 6:45pm for only AED 500 per couple.

Cooking classes: An ideal gift for loved ones

SCAFA also offers Christmas vouchers, making for the ultimate Christmas gift for anyone interested in cooking, be it an adult or a child. The couple's class is a great romantic gift and for kitchen enthusiast, the fundamentals of cooking class would be quite beneficial. The gift vouchers are available for purchase at SCAFA from 1st to 31st December and are valid for three months from the date of purchase.
