The opening of the showroom also coincided with the launch of the Evora and Evora S models for the UAE. The 425 sq m state-of-the-art showroom offers customers a complete Lotus experience and is decorated in the British manufacturer's signature monochrome scheme and also features a Lotus Originals boutique. Evora S The Evora S blends the sublime handling attributes of the Lotus Evora with the surging linear power of a supercharged V6 engine. Delivering even more attitude, the forced induction power plant delivers 345hp (350 PS) at 7000rpm and max torque of 295lbft (400 Nm) at 4500rpm. There's no appreciable weight gain: at 1,437kg the Evora S is still lightweight, muscling from 0 to 100km/h in 4.6 seconds (manual transmission / 4.7 seconds IPS Transmission), powering to its 286 km/h maximum (manual transmission / max speed 269 km/h IPS Transmission). Thanks to the advanced light weight engineering pioneered by Lotus, the Evora S still offers fuel consumption (combined) that borders on an economy car, with 9.9 litres/100km (on manual transmission / 9.7 litres/100km on IPS transmission) and emissions of just 229g/km CO2 (manual / 224 IPS transmission).
