Dubai, UAE; 26 August 2013 – Women who have long sought a perfect day out now have a chance to do so at a three-day extravaganza featuring the best and the latest dining, shopping and pampering experiences at Ladies Day Out (LDO) from October 25-27, 2013 at the spectacular Sky Bubble at Meydan Racecourse.

Supported by headline sponsor Nivea, and organised by Turret Media, the inaugural LDO event promises women a comprehensive range of activities where they can shop for the most luxurious and trendy finds, get the latest tips on health and beauty from professionals, and indulge in exquisite treatments and services designed to pamper both body and mind.

“In planning Ladies Day Out, our philosophy has been simple – ask women in the UAE what they want, and bring it to them in a truly fun and unique environment. Until Ladies Day Out, women needed to go to at least five different events to be able to experience what we have to offer - this is the first time that an event of this magnitude and scope has been conceptualised and organised in the UAE,” said Rebecca McConnell, Marketing Director of Turret Media, the same organisation behind the highly successful Taste of Dubai Festival, as well as a number of other high profile trade and consumer events.

Ladies Day Out has been strategically structured around five themes, each presenting a wide variety of activities or products and services that appeal to women – Hair and Beauty, Fashion, Indulgence, Health & Vitality, and Careers & Ambitions.

But it's not all about being pampered and preened. “In addition to indulging in the latest beauty treatments, many women we spoke to wanted to try their hand at a completely new skill. DJ masterclasses, DIY workshops, jewellery design courses, golf lessons...we have something for everyone!' concludes McConnell.

The event kicks off with the Dubai Big Pink Ball on October 24, 2013, a gala dinner whose proceeds will be donated to the Breast Cancer Arabia™ Foundation, a charity that pays for breast cancer treatment for women who cannot afford it. With only 1,000 tickets to be sold, the glam and exclusive evening for Dubai's elite set features entertainment, great food and fantastic networking opportunities.

“We are deeply honoured to have been chosen as the beneficiary of Dubai's Big Pink Ball - it is a healthy sign that people are aware about the issues involved, and are actively doing something to support the cause. Our most immediate concern now is to help people better understand the nature of this disease and what they can do to protect themselves from it, ” said Dr Richard Reyes, who founded the online information portal Breast Cancer Arabia™ and the Breast Cancer Arabia™ Foundation with his wife Elizabeth in 2010.

Ladies Day Out is open to the public and early bird ticket prices are in place until 13 September 2013 at www.LadiesDayOutDubai.com sponsored by Nivea, Estee Lauder, Mercedes Benz, Highland Spring, TKD Lingerie and Armaf.
