Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; July 29, 2013: Building on the celebratory ambience associated with Eid, Zee Aflam, the first Pan-Arab 24-hour free-to-air Bollywood film channel dedicated to Arabic audiences, is presenting a lively line-up of dance-themed films, in August 2013. Flagging off the stellar showcase is Chance Pe Dance starring Shahid Kapoor, Genelia D'souza, and Mohnish Bahl, which narrates the story of a struggling actor and dancer, who decides to enter a talent competition, but is forced to give up his dreams when his father disapproves of his creative future. The film will make its on screen appearance on August 10. A timeless classic, Dil To Pagal Hai, returns to the second screen on August 17, with Shah Rukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Karishma Kapoor, and Akshay Kumar, following the story of Nisha, a dancer in a play who gets sick and has to be replaced by Pooja. Featuring the classic dilemma of love, the dance auditions and practice in Dil To Pagal Hai lead to a whole new chapter in Pooja's life when she finds herself falling in love with Rahul. Boasting the prolific talent of Madhuri Dixit, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kunal Kapoor, and Akshaye Khanna, is Aaja Nachle, screening on August 21. The film depicts a women's journey back to her hometown to teach the importance of art, rekindling lost relationships, and bringing back to life the lessons that she once took away. The grand finale of the dance-themed films is Prabhudeva's ABCD: Anybody Can Dance, on August 31. Billed as the ‘Michael Jackson' of Indian cinema, Prabhudeva is joined by Ganesh Acharya, Kay Kay Menon, Lauren Gottlieb, Dharmesh Yelande, and Salman Yusuff Khan, in a dancer's quest to prove his mettle through a competition. The film, which released in February 2013, is making its first on-screen premiere exclusively on Zee Aflam. The dance-themed films will be screened at 22:00 KSA time. Zee Aflam is available to audiences in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the rest of the Arab world on Nilesat and Arabsat. For more information, please visit www.zeeaflam.com.
