Our thoughts on Localawi Emirati Restaurant.

We decided to kickoff this weekend by indulging in some Emirati food at Localawi. Upon arriving, we were given an iPad which had their menu written on it. It made it so easy to read, especially as we could zoom in and out of the screen!

A member of staff promptly took our order. Whilst our food was being prepared, we were offered Kahwa and dates that were a lovely way to start the evening. The restaurant had beautiful interiors embraced the vintage theme.

Shortly after, our food began to arrive. We had ordered an assortment of dishes. One such dish was the chicken burger, every ingredient that went in was freshly made from the bread to the chicken and everything in between, it was served with a side of garden salad and French fries. The Emirati-style pancakes were served with creme cheese and were delicious! For dessert, we ordered their ‘Crumpled Dates’ and some Karak Ginger tea, this is definitely a must try as they both taste amazing! The presentation of every dish was impeccable. The portion sizes were also bigger than average (yay!!).

The hospitality at Localawi was incredible and the staff was really welcoming. All this made our time at the restaurant even more enjoyable! Localawi is located in Al Barsha 3. You can also find them on Deliveroo, Talabat and Uber Eats!
