UAE, April 12, 2017- The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention, represented by the Training and Development Center in Sharjah, recently organized the Annual Honoring Ceremony for its partners in recognition of their role and efforts in enhancing institutional cooperation and achieving its strategic objectives. The ceremony was held in the presence of H.E. Awad Bin Saghir Al Ketbi, Undersecretary for Ministry’s Support Services Sector and was attended by representatives of the Ministries, government organizations, universities and schools. During the ceremony, a brainstorming session and a workshop were also held to build a strategic development plan and present the Center’s Annual Report. The awardees were recognized under several categories, including Senior Leadership in the Ministry, Senior and Supervisory Staff, Executive and Professional Categories, and New Employees. In addition, public and private schools, institutions, international organizations, and various service providers - individuals and companies, who have a made a distinctive contribution in cooperating and communicating with the Training and Development Center were honored. In his welcome speech, Saqr Al Humairi, Director of the Training and Development Center commended the role of the partners as the true supporter for the success of the Center’s development process. He emphasized that the center is keen to establish and strengthen the strategic partnerships with a number of public and private institutions. Al Humairi added: “We look forward to involve our partners in the development of policies and legislations for the exchange of experiences, enabling us to work effectively in updating the performance indicators. It will also improve the services offered by the Training and Development Center and contribute towards the sustainable development process in line with the strategic plan to achieve the highest standards of excellence.”
