Dubai, UAE, February 15, 2016: Al-Futtaim Motors, exclusive distributor of Toyota, Lexus, Hino and Toyota Material Handling Equipment in the UAE, has appointed Bertrand Thiebaut as Senior Managing Director to overlook the business and maintain the company’s position as the leading automotive dealer in the UAE. “This is a great new adventure for me as I start a new journey in a new country that is blessed with great leadership. Al-Futtaim Motors’ reputation precedes it, having been at the core of the automotive industry in the UAE for more than six decades, and I’m extremely excited to have joined at a time when the company is consistently growing and shaping the future of mobility in the UAE,” he said. Prior to joining Al-Futtaim Motors, Thiebaut enjoyed a long history in the automotive business with some of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers in America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Africa. His latest role was with CFAO, a multinational company engaged in the sale of manufactured goods, pharmaceutical products and automobiles via CFAO Automotive Equipment & Services, where he held the position of Automotive Chief Executive Officer for the past six years and was responsible for leading the business across multiple countries that encompassed some of the world's most renowned automotive brands, including Toyota and Lexus. Thiebaut, 50, hails from France and has graduated from the European Business School in Paris, France.
