The Unexpected Joint Formula: MedColl – Joint success following anecdotal data

** Scientists find that the evidence based collagen boosting health supplement to be beneficial for joints, joint pain and stiffness **

Dubai UAE, December 16, 2015:  According to the latest research released by The Conway Institute, UCD, Ireland, the leading medical collagen research center behind the health skin supplement MedColl, they say they have found unexpected health benefits in those taking the supplement MedColl for their skin.

For over 3 and a half years end users of the skin supplement MedColl, which does not contain collagen like most products, but rather the precursors for collagen for the body to synthesis its own natural endogenous collagen and connective tissue, have reported anecdotal evidence and clinical feedback regarding some of the beneficial side effects of taking the collagen booster.

End users, who previously having joint stiffness, joint pain and/or ill-ease in the joints have reported back to the lead scientific team that since taking MedColl, they found their joints to be less stiff, an improvement in movement and range, and most importantly noted that some end users found that their joint pain dissipated and they had reduced their pain medication as a result.

Further studies on joint cells in the laboratory have found that MedColl has an anti-inflammatory response on the tissue and musculature surrounding the joint area, thus reducing inflammation, which causes pain. Studies also concluded that the MedColl  formula was found to increase collagen in the cartilage in joints and the increased presence of hyaluronan from MedColl’s formula would assist in hydrated the bursae, the fluid-filled sacs surrounding all major joints in the body.  Sacs are lined by a synovial membrane and filled with a viscous liquid which also contains hyaluronic acid, a liquid that hold 1000 times its weigh in water.

It also provides a cushion between bones and tendons and/or muscles around a joint, which helps to reduce friction between the bones and allows free movement. Bursae are filled with synovial fluid and are found around most major joints of the body and cushion and protect the bones from friction.

Our lead collagen scientist conducting the studies states that;

“Our laboratory studies for the MedColl formula have shown to provide an anti-inflammatory response in the joints, which would attribute to the reduction of pain for some takers coupled with the fact that the supplements formula has also been shown to increase endogenous collagen and increase native hyaluronic acid”
- Dr. T McMorrow, Conway Institute of Biomolecular & Biomedical Science

“This is great outcome for MedColl consumers of all ages but also for our own research endeavors. Not only are our consumers receiving all the benefits for their skin and hair, and helping them look good in this area, we now have scientific evidence that MedColl provides favorable joint health benefits, which we hadn’t expected. It is a wonderful side effect for wanting beautiful skin. Now people can have both, healthy skin and healthy pain free joints”

Roz Martin, Medical Director, MedColl.

This additional benefit can be most useful for people who currently are experiencing joint stiffness or joint pain, or for those who want to be proactive and protect their joints for the long term.

MedColl is available at leading pharmacies across the UAE priced AED 295.
