Dubai, United Arab Emirates, January 25, 2015: The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) will participate in the 40th edition of Arab Health Exhibition & Congress. Set to take place from January 26-29 at the Dubai International Convention Centre, Arab Health is second largest healthcare exhibition and congress in the world and the largest in the Middle East. Dr Manal Taryam, CEO of Primary Healthcare at the DHA, said: “ Arab Health is one of the most important global events in the healthcare calendar and has seen year-on-year growth. The event is an opportunity for medical professionals from the region and the world to come together and discuss the latest advances in medicine. The event showcases the future of healthcare which is important to ensure continuous improvements in patient outcomes. “During the four-day conference DHA will announce several initiatives including new initiatives for the Dubai Medical Tourism initiative, DHA clinical capacity plan etc. DHA will also provide an overview on some specialised services such as the fertility treatments provided by the Dubai Gynaecology and Fertility Centre. Ghanim Lootah, Director of Marketing and Communications at the DHA, said: “ During the event, at the DHA stand, medical professionals will conduct free health screenings including blood sugar and blood pressure screening as well as Body Mass Index(BMI) reading. We participants to make use of this opportunity and get their health screening done.” Lootah added that visitors at the DHA stand also have a chance to win prizes including daily draws.
