Dubai, United Arab Emirates, December 8, 2014: Dubai Health Authority (DHA) hospitals received more than 6000 patients during the 43rd UAE National Day holidays, said a top health official. Health professionals at DHA Hospitals ( Rashid, Latifa, Dubai and Hatta) worked as per shift timings and medical practitioners were on call to ensure work continues as usual. The emergency departments of all DHA hospitals were functional round-the-clock on all days. Dubai, Hatta, Rashid and Latifa received 237 admissions, 4995 accident and emergency cases, 1067 walk-ins and 494 outpatients.
