Expansion in line with company’s plans to significantly increase number of outlets by the end of this year in the GCC region Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 17 September 2014 - International franchiser German Doner Kebab is all set to unveil its new store at the Al Ghurair Center, in Deira. The firm is investing AED 20 million to open 12 new outlets in Dubai before the end of this year, which includes the first store in the UK. “We are pleased to announce our presence at one of the oldest, most iconic shopping malls in the country; the Al Ghurair Center. We have been working hard to cater to the growing demand from our customers, and the Al Ghurair outlet represents that,” said Farshad Abbaszadeh, CEO, German Doner Kebab. Additionally, German Doner Kebab is all set to open shop at the Global Village this November, which will be ideally located at the main entrance. “The Global Village is an amazing place to be, and is truly a melting pot of the World’s popular cultures. We pride ourselves with authenticity, and that resonates with the theme of Global Village perfectly,” added Farshad. German Doner Kebab is already present across nine locations in the UAE, and the 10 new outlets will be located in Al Barsha, Burjuman Centre, Deira (next to Deira City Centre), Dragon Mart, Dubai Mall, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai Sports City, JBR-The Walk, Jumeirah road, and Tecom. Meanwhile, Brummies can finally get a taste of authentic German Doner Kebab cuisine, as the brand will open their first store in the United Kingdom towards the end of 2014. “We are excited with our store in Birmingham, and hope that the diverse community in Northern England takes up to the treat,” Farshad commented. About the menu The kebabs are made from quality ingredients that can only be found at Doner Kebab, and customers are sure to appreciate the distinctive taste, not to forget the secret sauces that are exclusively prepared. The company uses 100% veal and pure chicken fillets. The meats are imported directly from Germany for a more specialized and authentic taste.
