Centrepoint Theatre, DUCTAC Mall of the Emirates 4.15pm and 7.15pm on January 31 2014 January 2014, Dubai, UAE: The children of the Dubai-based Ballet Centre are set to take the renowned production, the Nutcracker to the stage this month on January 31st, 2014 with two shows at the Centrepoint Theatre, DUCTAC, Mall of the Emirates. The show is the ideal production to introduce young children and lovers of the world of dance to the wonder and grace of Ballet. The two evening shows scheduled for 4.15pm and 7.15pm will feature 150 students who will relieve the classic Tchaikovsky story that has become synonymous with the season. The event is choreographed by the Ballet Centre's Teachers and the children rehearse weekly at the Centre. The teachers are qualified from the Royal Academy of Dance and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. In fact, the Jumeriah-based Ballet Centre is the longest established performing Arts and Dance School in Dubai and features seven studios fully equipped with barres, mirrors and sprung floors. The Ballet Centre also offers Modern, Tap, Taekwondo, Zumba (teen and adults), BODA Drama, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Irish Dance, Hip Hop, Shiamak, Piano and Belly Dancing, Body Step and Ballet for adults.
