The event is slotted to run until October 30, 2013 at the Beach Rotana Hotel in Abu Dhabi. Speaking on the topic, ‘A journey from CAD to model based rail design,' Suchocki touched base on important design issues for the rail industry, which included adoption of BIM in Network Rail's Building & Civil Design department; getting a Return on Investment (ROI) from pilot projects and the benefits to be gained from BIM libraries for standard design.
