(SEPTEMBER 19, 2013 – NEW YORK) Partnering with the Cinema Society, Piaget co-hosted a special screening of Ron Howard's new film ‘Rush' starring Chris Hemsworth, Daniel Brühl and Olivia Wilde. Guests including Courtney Love, Margarita Levieva, Albert Hammond Jr., NASCAR's Jeff Gordon, Paul Haggis, Oliver Platt, Dana Delany, Kelly Klein and Craig McDean joined Hemsworth, Brühl and President of Piaget North America, Larry Boland, at Chelsea's Bow Tie Cinemas to view the 1976 Formula One inspired drama. In one of her first scenes, Olivia Wilde's character, Suzy Miller, epitomizes seventies glamour with a chic fur-collared suede overcoat paired with a long Piaget Rose Sautoir and matching earrings both in rose gold. For her marriage to James Hunt, played by Hemsworth, Miller wears a pair of Piaget Limelight earrings, crafted in 18-carat white gold and set with 98 brilliant-cut diamonds. Later in the film, when Miller and Hunt are separated, she appears in Piaget's stunning Limelight New York necklace in 18-carat white gold set with a total of 451 brilliant-cut diamonds and 29 blue sapphires along with matching 18-carat white gold earrings set with 110 brilliant-cut diamonds and 28 blue sapphires, reportedly a gift from her future husband, Richard Burton. In one of her final scenes, Miller wears a gorgeous Piaget Miss Protocole white gold and diamond necklace. Piaget has been a long time supporter of cinema and the arts. In addition to partnering with the Cinema Society, Piaget will once again be a principle sponsor of the Film Independent Spirit Awards to be held in Santa Monica on March 1, 2014.
