On the sidelines of ‘Medina, the capital of Islamic culture' festivities

Emirates Post Group participates in 3rd Arab Stamp Exhibition ‘Madina 2013'

Dubai, September 18, 2013: Emirates Post Group participated in the 3rd Arab Stamps Exhibition ‘Madina 2013' which was hosted by Saudi Arabia as part of the activities for ‘Madina Capital of Islamic Culture 2013'.

The Emirates Post delegation was led by Mr. Abdullah Mohammed Al-Ashram, CEO of Emirates Post, and included a number of senior officials, in addition to officials from Emirates Philately Department.

The UAE Pavilion got an overwhelming response from the public, with visitors showing keen interest in the stamps of the UAE. More than 10,000 visitors thronged the pavilion.

The exhibition was opened on behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Madina, by Mr. Suleiman bin Mohammed Al Jarish, Deputy Governor of Madina, at Al Rashid Mall in the presence of Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Post, Engineer Mohamed Jamil Bin Ahmed Mulla, along with a number of postal officials and VIPs.
