United Arab Emirates, Dubai, July 9, 2013: The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) announced today the working hours for all DHA hospitals, DHA administration, primary health centres and medical fitness centres during the holy month of Ramadan. The working hours for DHA administration will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. from Sundays to Thursdays. Timing of DHAhospitals: Hospitals and health centres, will work as per shift timings and medical practitioners will be on call to ensure work continues as usual. In terms of hospitals, the Latifa Hospital outpatient clinic will be open from Sundays to Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Dubai hospital outpatient clinic will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays and Rashid Hospital outpatient clinic will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on weekdays. The Hatta Hospital outpatient clinic and family medicine clinic will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. The clinic will be closed for an Iftar break from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The specialist clinics will be open from 8:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The emergency departments of all these hospitals will be functional round the clock. Timings of primary healthcare centres: In terms of primary healthcare centres, the Nad Al Hamar health centre will function round-the-clock. The Al Lusaily Health Centre will be open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Saturdays the centre will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Al Safa and Al Mamzar health centre will be open from 9 a.m. to midnight and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The two centres also have weekend clinics which will be open from 8:30 a.m. to midnight. All other primary health centres will be open from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekdays and on Saturdays the centre will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The dental clinic in all these primary healthcare centres will be held on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. The Dubai Diabetes Centre working hours will be 9 am to 2 pm on weekdays. Timings of Medical Fitness Centres: In terms of the medical fitness centres, the Al Muhaisnah centre will be open on weekdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and in the evenings from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. On Saturdays the centre will be open from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. The Medical Fitness Centres in Al Karama and Al Quoz will work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Saturdays the Karama centre will be open from 8 a.m. to 1p.m. DIFC, Knowledge Village and Jabel Ali Free Zone( JAFZA) will work on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Al Safa VIP centre, Al Bad'aa, Al Mankhool and Al Lusaily centres will be open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Al Rashidiya medical fitness centre will be open from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Al Twar and Al Khawaneej centres will be open from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The medical fitness centres at Dubai Airport Free Zone Authority and Emirates Airline will be open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Customers may call the DHA hotline number 800 342 for more information.
