August 8, 2019: The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has scheduled the working hours at MoHAP’s primary health care and preventive medicine centers during the Eid Al-Adha holiday, which starts from 9-12 of Dhul-Hijjah 1440, 10-14 August.
In this context, MoHAP announced that the services of preventive medicine centers will be available in all medical district on Tuesday from 9 am to 2 pm, in addition to the medical examination center for residency at Ibn Battuta Mall, Salah al-Din, Riffa, and Dahan.
Medical services will be available in 27 health centers, 6 preventive medicine centers, and 3 medical examination centers for residency.
While Birth and death certificates services will also be available during the Eid Al-Adha holiday in a shift system.
Health Centers Are Well-Prepared for Receiving Patients
H.E. Dr. Hussein Abdel Rahman Al-Rand, Undersecretary of the Ministry’s Health Assistant Sector, Health Centers and Clinics, said that the health centers are ready to receive patients and have completed preparatory procedures according to the established plan.
Al-Rand pointed to MoHAP’s keenness to the continuity of the healthcare services efficiently and effectively, taking into account that working hours during Eid holidays meet the need of all residents in the Northern Emirates.
He Shed light on the preparatory measures taken by MoHAP to ensure the readiness of health centers to receive various cases and the
availability of medicines and medical supplies in health centers during the Eid holidays, which witness a high number of various incidents.
Al-Rand highlighted MoHAP’s efforts to equip health centers with the necessary medical and nursing staff, in addition to providing the latest medical equipment.
This comes in line with MoHAP’s strategy in terms of providing comprehensive and innovative healthcare services, based on national performance indicators and standards aiming to implement the best practices applied by prestigious health institutions and according to the highest international innovative standards.
