Dubai - UAE, Monday 7th June 2017 - Renato Paratore won his first European Tour Title in Malmö, Sweden at the Nordea Masters on Sunday June 4th. Renato displayed impressive composure under pressure as he battled to regain the lead and beat Chris Wood and Matt Fitzpatrick by one shot. He carded a 3 under for the day, finishing at 11 under for the tournament. Having started the day one shot behind, Paratore birdied back-to-back holes before the turn and added two more birdies on the back nine. He saved par on 18 after he reached the green on his second shot, recovering from his wayward drive. The Audemars Piguet Ambassador Renato Paratore, aged 20, is the younger winner on Tour since Matteo Manassero, an Italian compatriot, claimed the BMW PGA Championship in 2013. This victory comes as no surprise for the young Roman as everybody expected the best from him since he reached the quarterfinals of the British Amateur Championship at Royal Cinque Ports in 2013. 'I couldn't be happier right now. I really enjoyed this win,' Paratore said. 'I was one behind the leader so I thought if I played well I could win. In these tough conditions I kept a good attitude until the end.' This first title is the result of hard work and incredible passion for the game. Also known to be the quickest player on the European Tour, Renato Paratore embodies Audemars Piguet’s brand philosophy “To break the rules, you must first master them”. He is in good company inside the Audemars Piguet golf ambassadors Dream Team with Ben An, Darren Clarke, Paul Dunne, Branden Grace, Emiliano Grillo, Miguel Ángel Jiménez, Andrew Johnston, Romain Langasque, Ian Poulter, Henrik Stenson, Andy Sullivan, Peter Uihlein, Lee Westwood, Bernd Wiesberger and Danny Willett.
