This year’s awareness drive will focus on water conservation and protection of the environment Dubai, UAE, June 6, 2017: Choithrams in association with Unilever celebrates World Environment Day on June 5 for the 4th consecutive year.With rapid development and change in the UAE, awareness on sustainability has become more important than ever. Choithrams will launch a conscious initiative on June 5thto replacethe plastic bags used in their stores with paper bags, while continuing their successful collaboration with Unilever towards environmental sustainability since 2013. This initiative will be inaugurated by Mr. Gaurav Rustagi, Country Director, Unilever, UAE & Oman along with Mr. Dinesh Pagrani, Director, Choithrams on 5thJune at the Choithrams store, Safa Park, Dubai. Commenting on the initiative Choithrams Chairman L.T. A collaborative effort and a more proactive approach to recycling will make a big difference to the community and also empower people to be more conscientiousness of their surroundings. Choithrams is also educating consumers on products that save substantial volumes of water in modern household appliances such as washing machines and dishwashers. Customers spending over AED 25 on any Unilever Water Saving products will be eligible for prizes including 7 washing machines and DEWA bill subsidies worth AED 50 to 500 based on a lucky draw.
