Dubai, 18th February, 2017: Global Village, the region’s first-ever multicultural festival park, has announced the opening of its registration process for the participation of potential investors and partners for its 22nd season 2017-2018. The registration is open to interested investors across various categories including pavilions, retail outlets, restaurants, services, kiosks and much more at a local and international level. Global Village welcomes entities to benefit from the platform it provides as an opportunity to showcase new ideas to multi-cultural audience, along with the exposure it creates to international businesses and their practices to share expertise with them. It also offers many unique advantages to its investors, including advertising and media support as well as providing them a platform for training its employees on customer service skills and a special session for international investors and their teams on an orientation programme for understanding local customs and traditions. In that regard, we are happy to help investors to discuss their ideas and help develop them.” During its 20th season, Global Village made commercial exchanges worth more than 2.2 billion dirhams across more than 3,500 outlets and more than 20 restaurants. This 21st season, Global Village is representing more than 75 countries across 30 pavilions with more than 150 restaurants, cafes and food kiosks spread around the destination. “We’ve noticed a substantial increase in business’ interests during the 21st season, a number that’s been increasing every season. We are expecting to receive a larger number of applications for the next season, which is a reflection of Global Village’s success in terms of infrastructure, the large-scale activities, and its facilities”, continued Al Rayyes. During its 20th season, Global Village welcomed more than 5.3 million guests, and attracted more than 2.3 million guests during the first two months of its current 21st season and the destination is expecting to attract more than 5.5 million guests by the end of the season, which ends on the 8th of April. Global Village is always looking to provide all that is new and innovative to ensure its guests receive an enhanced cultural experience which offers diversity. Registrations are now available online through a smart system that was created for the purpose of making the process as easy as possible for the investors in line with Dubai’s smart city initiative.
