Dubai, United Arab Emirates, November 29, 2016: The Dubai Health Authority’s Dubai Medical Tourism Office organized an informative workshop under the title “Broaden our potential” for the DXH group members. The workshop was hosted by The Murooj Rotana Hotel in Dubai and was attended by the marketing directors and international patient managers of the DXH group members (formerly called the Dubai Medical Tourism club). Dr Layla Al Marzouqi, director of the DHA health regulation department the Dubai medical tourism program, said, “The main objective of this workshop was to educate DXH group members on ways to tap into their own potential to attract medical tourists. This was also an opportunity to brainstorm and to receive feedback and suggestions from key industry experts from the private sector. This workshop is part of the series of workshops that we organize regularly with DXH members to discuss ways on how to further enhance and strengthen the Dubai Medical Tourism Initiative.” More than 25 group members attended the workshop and discussed the patient journey of the international tourists. They also discussed the areas that individual healthcare facility can utilize to enhance international patient experience.
