McDonald's UAE Opens More Restaurants This Summer 2016

McDonald’s UAE store with huge seating capacity revealed in Al Ain

Dubai, UAE, July 12, 2016:  McDonald’s UAE are expanding their geographical reach and opening more restaurants in the United Arab Emirates this summer. The new openings include the reveal of the restaurant with 130 seating capacity centrally located in the Zakher area of Al Ain. 

The new double-story stand-alone restaurant in Al Ain covers 259 square meters of interior space. It is fully equipped with interactive technology systems such as digital menus, self-ordering kiosks, a cutting-edge interior design as well as the famous playland for the little ones.

Additional restaurants will open in Abu Dhabi Marina Mall, ADNOC stations in Mushrif area and Mohamed Bin Zayed Street, as well as Dubai International Retail Center (in Dubai International City). The expansion is in line with the 2016 plan to become more accessible to people in all areas across the Emirates.

During the holy month of Ramadan, McDonald’s UAE has already celebrated the reveal of three new stores at ADNOC station - Al Shamkha - Abu Dhabi, Al Aliah Mall - Al Ain, and Burjuman - Dubai; as well as the reopening of fully renovated stores at Mega Mall, Dubai Mall, and Khalidiya Mal. 

Commenting on the openings, Mr. Rafic Fakih, Managing Director and Partner at McDonald’s UAE, said: “We are highly delighted to inaugurate seven more McDonald’s stores in the UAE this summer as part of our 2016 expansion strategy. The opening of the new McDonald’s restaurants boosts the total number of McDonald’s outlets in the Emirates to 148 which is in line with McDonald’s global expansion strategy.
