United Arab Emirates; October 31, 2015 - The French oil and gas industry will once again take part in the ADIPEC exhibition in Abu Dhabi from November 9-12, 2015, with 33 companies representing the various sectors of the industry. The French companies will be grouped together in a 315 m² French section organized by Business France, a government agency supporting the international development of the French economy. ADIPEC, the 2nd world's third largest oil and gas exhibition, and the 1st in the Gulf area, is a key event to meet the industry's decision-makers and professionals.

The French oil and gas sector brings together the world's leading operators such as Total or ENGIE, companies who provide equipment or services to the oil and gas industry, some of them being the world's giants such as CGG and TECHNIP,etc. But this sector has also a network of SMEs, to cover the sector's needs from exploration till the processing of hydrocarbons.

The French oil and gas sector generates nearly €35 billion in turnover, provides 60,000 high-level technical and scientific jobs and French technologies benefit from an international reputation. With more than 90% of turnover generated abroad, France is the second largest global exporter after the United States. This extraordinary performance reflects the high technological level of French companies, bolstered by ambitious research and development programs.
