Dubai, 29th October 2015: The first edition of Pravasi Volleyball League will be held in Dubai from 5th to 7th November 2015. The event is being organized by Housefull Events, a premier sports and events management company in the UAE. Pravasi Volleyball League 2015 is the first of its kind in the UAE, which will see a mix of both Kerala and UAE, with 10 teams representing the 10 districts of Kerala and 2 teams from the UAE, namely Dubai Duty Free and the Indian Association. The event will be held at the Salahaldin Sports Complex, Qusais
‘Not only is Volleyball one of the most widely played sports in Kerala, it is also being acclaimed all over as an any man’s sport’, said Allen David, Managing Director, Housefull Events. He also remarked that Pravasi Volleyball League is an effort to celebrate the game of Volleyball in addition to the talent and efforts of world-renowned Volleyball legend, Shri. Jimmy George. PVL 2015 will attract the finest talent available in UAE and Kerala and will be organized every year in different locations in UAE. It is also expected that an average audience of more than 3000-5000 will gather at Salahaldin Sports Complex to cheer for and encourage their respective districts and clubs. The winning team, runner-up and most valuable player will be awarded with cash prizes in addition to the ever-rolling grand trophy for the winning team.
