ISAF Sailing World Cup Final officially opened in abu dhabi

Abu Dhabi, UAE, 29 October 2015: The 2015 ISAF Sailing World Cup Final was launched at an official opening ceremony at the Abu Dhabi Theatre tonight by Ahmed Majed Al Mehairi, Vice Chairman of Abu Dhabi Sailing and Yacht Club.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Emirates Kiteboarding Committee, then welcomed the 150 competitors from 39 countries who will compete for nine gold medals over the next four days at Abu Dhabi Sailing and Yacht Club.

Competitors took part in a parade of nations and, along with ISAF officials, took the oath of sportsmanship and fair play.
