For Spring 2015, Mark Cross pops with color and new shapes. Drawing inspiration from the work of artists such as Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol, graphic prints are used throughout the collection as well as an abundance of color blocking. Buttercup, forest, sky blue and butterscotch define the season’s palette in addition to the always included colors of black, ivory, nude, luggage, cuoio and red. Printed haircalf returns again in a playful black and white Dalmatian print. A plexi-glass Grace Box makes her debut in three sizes - mini, small and large; while Hadley joins the Manray group in both rattan and coated rattan, and Benchley, a re-interpreted binocular case from the Mark Cross archives, is introduced, all adding breadth to the Mark Cross collection. The iconic Grace Box returns in the new spring palette and includes Pop Art graphics with saffiano lip appliques and Dalmatian printed haircalf. Plexi-glass Grace Boxes with removable saffiano pouches create illusion, while quad-color and penta-color Boxes make a bold statement. The Grace Box clutch returns, with a striking lips applique on white and also solid textured saffiano leather brights, including buttercup, sky, forest, butterscotch and red all edged in white that really pop. Textures continue to be abundant, ranging from plexi-glass, to quilted smooth calf, to haircalf, to saffiano, all completed with impeccable craftsmanship. The Grace Box continues to be a style coveted by fashion’s most stylish it-girls. The Benchley joins the revered Mark Cross collection for Spring. Inspired by a vintage Mark Cross binocular case from the 1960’s, Benchley is sure to be at the top of every girl’s wish list. This structured, top opening style with a curved back lays flat against the body and is the ultimate mod accessory. Available in solid red and white, as well as a penta-color combination of sky blue, butterscotch, navy, white and red, Benchley is sure to satisfy. Hadley returns, now available in buttercup yellow, sky blue, red, navy, black and white; colors drawn from Lichtenstein’s most recognized works. This top-handle satchel comes in two sizes, small and medium, and has a detachable shoulder strap making her perfect for the girl on the go. The soft structured, canvas lined Laura with palladium zip closure and detachable shoulder strap continues to be a coveted style. It makes a statement this season in quad-color smooth calf, mixing black and white with an unexpected pairing of buttercup yellow and forest green. Dalmatian printed haircalf infuses pattern and texture to this modern style, while the solid buttercup and navy Laura’s both feature white piping, making this style standout. Manray, our rattan group, grows this season with the addition of the Hadley. Returning to the group are the satchel, tote and Grace Box - which will offer Pop Art graphics such as a cut-out palm print and a face, inspired by the 60’s icon, Twiggy. Additionally, white coated rattan is introduced into the collection, making the perfect summer bag that will be coveted by chic city girls all over the world. Mark Cross Spring 2015 introduces new styles, color combinations, textures and treatments while staying true to Mark Cross’ commitment to luxury handbags which will forever be the must-have bags.
