Property management organisation teams up with Aster Medical Group to dispense lifestyle advice Dubai, UAE, June 11, 2015-Families in Dubai are able to benefit fromfree health check-ups this month thanks to a partnership between wasl Properties and Aster Medical Group. The leading property management organisationhas teamed up with the renowned healthcare organisation to offer free medical tests and lifestyle advice for wasl families in two of the city’s prominent locations, with wasl saying that the service forms a core part of its commitment to its tenants. “This latest wasl health drive isa key engagement initiative for our customersthat shows our concern for them in all areas of their lives, not just in matters relating to their properties. The wellbeing of our tenants and their families is extremely important to us as we believe that a healthy customer is a happy customer,” said Zainab Mohamed, CEO Property Management, and Marketing, wasl Properties. The first of wasl Properties’ and Aster Medical Group’s health camps took place at the club house in wasl square on Friday, June 5 from4-9pm, with 270 families from the company’s wasl square development and 23 families from its wasl vita project invited to attend. The second will be hosted on Friday, June 12, also from 4-9pm, in the wasl amber reception area. A total of 153 families will beentitled to avail the free service; 69 families from wasl amber properties and 84 families from wasl onyx real estate development. Tenants and their families attending thehealth check-up eventshave their heart rate and blood pressure checked, as well as their Body Mass Index determined through weight and height measurements. They also have their blood sugar levels assessedin view of diabetes being a significant problem in this part of the world. After analysing the readings, the attendees receive a free consultation from the Aster medical professionals about their lifestyles and how they could improve their health. Amongst the advice dispensed isinformation on how individuals could optimise their diet, shed extra pounds and take up safe levels of exercise. “Medical check-up and lifestyle advice activities such as these are an integral component of our CSR programme that is committed to giving back to the community. We are very keen to tailor future health services for our tenants, so after carrying out each health assessment, we giveout survey cards to gauge attendees’ feedback about the health camps. The gathered information will be used by wasl to plan further professional health screening and advice for residents in the forthcoming years,” added Ms. Mohamed.
