Bloom Properties to Showcase Diverse Portfolio at Cityscape Global 2014

Projects Span Education, Hospitality, Leisure, Health and Retail Sectors across MENA Region and Emerging Markets

Dubai-UAE: 17 September, 2014 - Abu Dhabi-based real estate developer Bloom Properties, a National Holding company, is set to showcase a diverse range of projects during its participation at Cityscape Global, the region’s leading real estate exhibition held annually in Dubai.

To run from 21 - 23 September at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the 2014 edition of the landmark property event is anticipated to attract 250 exhibitors and some 25,000 key decision-makers and real estate investors.

Bloom Properties’ stand in Hall 4, 4B20 at the Dubai World Trade Centre will highlight the company’s diverse projects such as the Phase II of Bloom Gardens, Bloom Business Centre on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi, the Brighton College campuses in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, the Abu Dhabi Marina project in Al Bateen and Bloom Central. Bloom will also unveil a residential project at the heart of the Dubai marina District.

Construction work is rapidly progressing on several of these developments and given the resurgence of the UAE’s property sector, Cityscape Global 2014 offers an ideal forum to attract potential buyers and update existing investors on the latest status of projects.

Bloom Gardens, an exclusive residential community strategically located on the elegant Eastern Mangrove Corniche on Abu Dhabi Island has successfully achieved full occupancy for its 123 detached and semi-detached villas and townhouses, completed in 2012 during Phase 1. The construction of Phase 2 comprising a total of 249 villas has commenced with 55 villas launched for sale in July 2014 on which Bloom Properties offers an attractive payment, giving buyers the option to pay upfront just 20 per cent of the total property price while the remaining 80% to be settled on completion.

Bloom Gardens is also home to Brighton College Abu Dhabi. Launched in 2011, the school has an enrolment of over 1,300 students. Bloom also set up a 10-hectare Brighton College campus in Al Ain in September 2013. The school was awarded the A2 rating by the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), the highest grade ever achieved by a new school in the emirate of Abu Dhabi following a three-day inspection in May 2014.

The prestigious Business Centre located in Tower 1, Sila Tower of the internationally acclaimed Sowwah square in Abu Dhabi continues to attract international companies looking for convenient and ready-to-use offices and commercial spaces. The business centre is particularly suitable for international and local companies that require flexibility in terms of space and lease terms in Abu Dhabi.

Another landmark project by the UAE-based developer is the Shores of Karbala project, which spans an area of 20 sq km along the banks of Lake Razaza, west of the Iraqi city of Karbala. Bloom Properties has received approval on the project master plan from the Iraqi National Investment Commission (NIC) and all the plans are ready to commence infrastructure work.

Bloom Central, the 25-storey mixed-use development currently in its final construction stages will house two properties managed and operated by Marriott International – the five-star 315-room Abu Dhabi Marriott Hotel and the 64 key Marriott Executive Apartments in Abu Dhabi city. The project will also include 49 residential apartments and over 7000 Sqm of office space.

Abu Dhabi Marina, a state-of-the-art project was recently awarded the 2 Pearl Rating status by Abu Dhabi’s Estidama Pearl Building Rating System. Upon completion, the project will deliver 200 hotel rooms and 57 executive apartments, as well as two residential buildings comprising 225 apartments, ranging from one to four bedrooms. It will also include 3,000 Sqm of retail space and over 850 parking spaces. Abu Dhabi Marina is set for completion in 2016.

Bloom is also engaged in building a portfolio of sizable real estate projects in other key markets in the Middle East region to tap to the growing demand for quality housing in these markets.
