Beirut, July, 2014: Spinneys, the leading supermarket retailer in the Middle East and North Africa, has kicked off its summer donation campaign across its 8 outlets in Lebanon and introduced a co-branded loyalty card along with the Children Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL), to help with their continuous life-saving work. “We have a commitment towards the Lebanese society and this is part of our initiatives to give back and help the communities, and all the donated proceeds in this campaign will go directly to the CCCL to help a child fighting a brave battle.” Mr. Ralph El Kahi, Group Head of Marketing at Spinneys, said. The “One Dollar, Big Difference” donation campaign, which started on June 16th until July 18th, allows Spinneys customers to donate $1 to CCCL at the cash registers in any of Spinneys’ eight branches. Spinneys is also offering its Customers five bonus points added to their loyalty account upon every $1 donated to the center. As for the Spinneys and CCCL co-branded card, holders’ can collect it from the center in Clémenceau and by using the card at Spinneys they can donate a certain percentage of their purchases during the year to help cure the children and secure a brighter future for them. In addition, they can collect points and redeem them against the offered gifts and rewards that are part of Spinneys loyalty program.
