Abu Dhabi Airport diversions Some Etihad Airways flights departing from Abu Dhabi Airport today could be delayed by up to three hours. These delays are due to unexpected fog between 6am and 8am in Abu Dhabi, which caused fourteen flights to be diverted to other airports in the UAE. As a result passengers who may miss connecting flights will be re-booked on later flights or alternatively provided with hotel accommodation, where necessary.
