• Newly re-branded Five Star property is designed to cater to the GCC and international travellers • The Five Star hotel features 180 rooms and is the third Grand Excelsior property across the UAE Sharjah, UAE - 14 April 2014: Bin Haider Hospitality, a subsidiary of Mohammad Omar Bin Haider Group (MOBH), will be unveiling its latest Five Star hotel – Grand Excelsior Hotel Sharjah – tomorrow (15th April 2014). The 12 storey, 180 room re-branded property is designed to cater exclusively for GCC and international travellers. “Grand Excelsior Hotel Sharjah is our group’s third hotel to be internally branded as a Grand Excelsior Hotels & Resorts, and follows on the recent re-branding of two Grand Excelsior Hotels that are currently operational in Bur Dubai and Al Barsha areas in the Emirate of Dubai. Grand Excelsior Hotel Sharjah is a Five Star property which will open its doors on April 15th,” explained David Cockburn, Group General Manager, Bin Haider Hospitality Division. He pointed out that the Grand Excelsior Hotel brand has been developed in response to growth opportunities, including those presenting following Dubai’s successful bid to host Expo 2020. Bin Haider Hospitality is tapping into the growing market demand for an upscale hotel brand that reflects pride in the Arabian customs and the local traditions. As the third largest of the seven Emirates, Sharjah offers visits a unique Arabian experience, with its many heritage sites, museums and majestic mosques set against the natural beauty of the Arabian dessert. In celebration of the launch, Grand Excelsior Hotel Sharjah is offering visitors who dine with at the hotel before the 30th April 2014 a special welcome promotion, with 30 per cent discount on the total food and beverage bill. Mr. Cockburn stressed that the launch of The Grand Excelsior¬ Hotel Sharjah will further reinforce Bin Haider Hospitality’s growth aspirations in the region, as the group plans to build seven new hotel projects across the UAE. “Our plan is to be present in key locations across Dubai including the Palm Jumeirah, DuBiotech City, Studio City, DMZ and Al Nahda.
