It was celebration time all the way for employees of the Coral Beach Resort-Sharjah has they got together for the Annual Staff Party held at Dhow Cruise Dubai Marina, followed by special recognitions and awards. The hotel broke a year-long suspense naming winners of “Employee of the Year 2013” award. Velsankar Essaki, an Indian national, won “Back of the House” prize, while Buddhika Perera of Sri Lanka was selected as the “Front of the House” champion. “We know that the level of happiness of our employees has a profound impact on the quality of service as well as their creativity, enthusiasm and commitment. Essaki works for the Accounts Department as a Storekeeper and has been with the hotel for seven years. Buddhika Perera has put in three years of service and works with the Food and Beverage Department as a Waiter. Loyalty awards were also distributed on the occasion to employees who have been in service with the company for 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, 20 and 30 years.
