 Newborn Photography: It's A wonderful World The sight of a newborn baby invariably tugs at the heartstrings: they are so tiny, innocent and precious, especially in the first couple of weeks. And it seems that currently everywhere you turn someone is about to have or has just had a baby: from the excitement of a future king, through Hollywood royalty, to friends next door, work colleagues and family. Each newborn is treasured. For expatriates whose babies are born away from family, it isn't easy to share these first moments with family overseas. Photographer Nicky Mclean specialises in capturing those early emotional images. Using a variety of props and accessories, or just close-ups of hands, feet or a quiff of hair, Nicky records the parents' future memories as this selection of images show.
